Foot in mouth during cricket shows

Three instances of foot-in-mouth from Charu Sharma:

1. Last week, during one of the cricket asides, there was Mandira Bedi trying to look like a pretty young thing, and Charu Sharma, her co-host spoiled it for her by mentioning that she has three kids

2. The very next match (I think) he said something on the lines of "Mandira, it's great to have you back on the show. I know they didn't bring you in for the last few series but its great to have you back."

3. A few minutes ago: "...like seeing Pollock do the Ms. World." He meant act like her, but the eerie silence that followed indicated that everyone else thought he meant something else.

There must have been more, but I haven't watched much TV of late.

So do I. And I miss the old cricket shows. The good old football shows too - all dumbed down (except ESPN). Star Sports has gone the silly way, mistaking silly for funny. I have nightmares of switching channels and finding CS interrupting everyone else on every channel

for people- yes. that explains why CS and Sidhu are still around. For channels - no.

Well, I think they're just plugging their blogs here. I have some management stuff on the site (not one of them yet), so I they're probably here via google or CS.

I don't like people writing random stuff and plugging their blogs here, so these anonymous comments go.
